  • General ware based on age.

  • Frayed edges

  • Card authenticity

We are not a licensed card grading company and while we do our best to ensure authentic items and grading, we do not make any guarantees related to card ratings based on other grading athorities.

Grading Toys

If figures are not professionally graded, we grade them based on several factors:

  • Obvious repairs:

  • Rust/Water damage:

  • Accessories:

  • Sticker:

  • General ware based on age.

  • With used toys we assume a certain amount of ware if they are used and that does not impact used resale value.

  • Each brand of toy is unique so all of the above may or may not apply, but any other condition issues will be called out in the listing.

We see that although new, Warpath has separated from his card back.

Grading Board Games

  • If games are not new, we grade them based on several factors:

  • Visual Condition:

  • All components included.:

  • Box condition

  • Any damage:

  • Card/Board condition (warping, ripping)

  • General ware based on age.

With used games we assume a certain amount of ware if they are used and that does not impact used resale value.

Each brand of toy is unique so all of the above may or may not apply, but any other condition issues will be called out in the listing.

New items assume zero damage and in original packaging.

General Condition Ratings

  • MIB (Mint in Box) - New and never opened. No signs of damage to item or box.

  • NIB (New in Box) - Same as MIB except we are the original purchaser.

  • MOC (Mint on Card) - For figures/items that are on a backboard (Like G.I Joe.) this means they are undamaged and still on the original card backing.

  • Excellent - Means used and in a condition that shows minimal ware based on age. All original parts with no repairs.

  • Good - Means used and in a condition that shows minimal ware based on age. May have minor repairs or replacement parts that do not impact the function or visual condition. Joints may be loose but still hold positions.

  • Fair. - Means used and in a condition that shows some ware based on age. May have minor repairs or replacement parts that do not impact the function or visual condition. Joints may be loose and/or stickers missing/damaged.

  • Parts - Basically the item is damaged or missing key parts and is suitable for replacement parts or in need or work to restore.

Above we see BigBoa holds all positions but one arm does not stay up.

Restorations

Any restorations will note the specific nature of the restoration.

This may include:

  • Replacement parts:

  • Repairs:

  • Any non-original parts

  • Impact (if any) to the original figures function: ex. Transformation.

Bluestreak has an obvious repair. Zaranna has a new rubber band which would be noted but not effect value.

Helvetica Light is an easy-to-read font, with tall and narrow letters, that works well on almost every site.
